Auditions: Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End auditioning this month for Elkhart Civic Theatre

For 40 years, Sam Gullo has been filling his chair at the Civic Opera Barber Shop in the Loop.' Chicago Magazine, September 2011 'Tucked away on the 15th floor of the exquisite Civic Opera building, the only hint of the presence of a shave and shoe shine shop is the only one that matters—a bright red, white and blue barber pole. (The opera house and the smaller Civic theater account for a third of the 20,800,000 cubic feet content of the building.) But the depression and the crash of Insull's utility empire intervened. Office buildings were piling up some tidy deficits of their own.

Elkhart Civic Theatre announces educational initiative in honor of Michael Cripe
'Multi-talented' and 'multi-faceted' are words used often to describe Michael Cripe, who spent a lifetime successfully and enthusiastically engaged in theatre.
Michael graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1977 where he started using his theatrical talents. Breaking bread songbook. But he had already begun performing at Elkhart Civic Theatre in April of 1976 in the musical, Gigi.
Drupal 8 jquery. He went on to perform in, direct and choreograph many more shows at ECT off and on throughout the rest of his life, including such shows as Pippin, Singin' in the Rain and Smoke on the Mountain.
